So if I or another broke friend was hypothetically given a 1996 Jetta with 4 doors, 4 cylinders, 8 valves, a cracked windshield, 4 bald tires, a cyl #2 misfire, an automatic that slips a little, and a broken vehicle speed sensor what should I/he do with it? It does have a sunroof and plays La Cucaracha when you leave the lights on or the keys in. Should I look for an LS4/4T65E HD out of an Impala SS? A Northstar and 4T80E? Drive it off the pier?

Scrap it?
Fix the misfire and trans, then sell it?

I saw a youtube vid os one a couple of years ago with a northstar v8 out of an eldorado or something. It looked pretty cool and did amazing burnouts.

Kinda small to do a demolition derby. Jump it, tape it, and youtube it!

Cut the roof off and use it for a planter in the yard.
How about an artifical reef.

Put a Jeep drivetrain under it & paint it like the General Lee.
