I purchaed a new rear spoiler for my 67 Camaro and the bolt holes are way off. Is there any difference in the 67-69???

They should all be the same (i think)... you may have to "roll" it into the holes. Get the front started and roll into the bottom holes.

One of the catalogs (Ricks I believe) has a sidebar next to it's listings for decklid spoilers explaining the differences in blot patterns between NOS and some aftermarket units. There is a variability.

You can have trouble with the GM spoilers fitting in the holes compared to the originals. The angle the studs are installed varies from one batch to another. Rolling it into the holes is the best advice, meaning to start the first set in and maybe not all the way and then roll the other set in. You may also have to put the nuts on part way before you put it flat to the decklid. This is how I have to install mine and it is a pain but it works.
Another note to make is to make the lines match the quarter on each side. This may require you to add material or remove material to make it look right. You can use epoxies for this or fiberglass resin but do not use bondo to do it or it will crack and fall off eventually.
The aftermarket is full of spoilers that will not fit right along with GM spoilers being bad right out of the box. I returned 3 GM spoilers before I got one that they didn't ruin totally removing the mold flash with a die grinder the wrong way. Talk about a pain, so don't get discouarged if you have to get another spoiler to make it look right because you just might have to.

To answer your original question, yes there are differences between the '67-'68 and the '69 Spoiler. I believe the '69 is slightly wider.

You are correct and to add to the info, some early 69's had 67-8 spoilers put on them and they looked strange because they are shorter. Trunk lids are the same and the spoilers are different because 69 quarters are wider.
When you see an original 69 with a short spoiler you can now know that it was either an early factory car or a dealer installed spoiler early on.

Thanks for all the info the mounting studs were just at the wrong angles, we were able to roll it in as suggested and "persuade" the others

On mine i removed all studs and dovetailed them as best i could, then filled them with JB weld. Let cure of course and sand smooth. Then I closed the trunk and put the spoiler absolutly perfect and used a half a roll of masking tape to hold it in place. Then opened the trunk and marked each of my holes. Drilled new ones and its perfect now. Some of the stud angles are not perfect though.
