Has anyone come up with any ideas for power mirrors that look good. I am thinking about trying a set from the new Challenger. any advise would be helpful.

I've thought about the Challenger mirrors, although I think they would look odd on a 1st Gen. The Challenger is a much bigger car. If the Mirror proportions are correct on a big car, they'll probably look too large on a small one.

I've lately been thinking about using the '91 to '96 Buick Park Avenue Mirrors.

I also have wanted a better mirror for my '69 Camaro.
You can't see very well out of the factory style passenger side mirror.
They are just too small , and no matter where you adjust that pass. side mirror , you can't get a full view.

I've heard of people using a C5 Corvette mirror..

Granted mine is a Dart, but I am doing either Gen 1 Viper or C5 mirrors.

VW Corrado
BMW Z3
Mazda Miata

I have late 90's Buick mirrors on my Chevelle now.. (well the DS at least)

These are all pedistal mount but not sure how they will work... just some options

Great I will start looking into all 3 suggestions. Rich, would you be able to send pics of your Chevelle?

I like the style of the 2nd gen bullet sylet mirrors. I know a lot of first gen camaro's use these also. If you want this style the 1982 corvettes used them. They are pricey and pretty hard to find

This is the only pic I have right now... another option might be Chrysler Crossfire mirrors...
My girl has a Crossfire and I have been eyeing her mirrors.... I think they would be a good size, not too big...

This white mirror was from a Mitsubishi 3000GT .. My first attempt and just too big in my opinion....

The crossfire mirror looks pretty good.
The Mistubishi mirror is too big.

The 2nd gen Camaro mirrors work pretty good , but sometimes the aftermarket reproduction 2nd gen mirrors ( non-Genuine GM ) will rattle.
The glass constantly moves when you are in motion.
They are not made to the same specs as the Genuine GM mirrors.

I checked them all out and I do favor the 82 Corvette mirrors. I have been checking it out and you are right, I may have trouble finding a pair. I was thinking of the 2nd gen mirrors but want to go with an electric setup.

Thanks Guys.
