Last year Susan and I found out the hard way Google and TomTom won't get you to the Spring Mountain track. I found most GPS systems will let you type in a latitude and longitude.

Here is where we are going

Latitude - 36°10'3.97"N

Longitude - 115°54'40.28"W

Yup. Same for Garmin last year.

Fortunately we got some good directions last year via cell phone :D

You can't miss it. It's the first right when you get into Pahrump. They have a huge billboard and it's the nicest thing in that whole town. hahhaa

FROM LAS VEGAS

From the airport, take I-15 South, Exit off of the freeway onto Blue Diamond/ (Pahrump) Hwy 160, then make a right or head west at the light. Follow highway 160 and note that the last gas station is the Exxon on the left, this is your last chance for fuel, restroom breaks, and snacks. Continue to follow the highway for approximately 45 miles until you see a big left curve with 10 billboards all in a row on the right side our entrance is right after the Best Western billboard.
FROM PAHRUMP

Get on the main road through town (Hwy 160) and head towards Las Vegas. As you are coming out of town, there is a Mobil station on the left, we are approximately three miles past the mobil station. Watch for the string of billboards on the left as well as Wheeler Pass Road as you are taking the downhill, right-sweeping curve. Our entrance is on the left.

This is the problem. I don't get how so many internet base mapping sites can't figure this one out. It's miles from the track.

are we going to have cones marking the apex's and proper outside exit points on the curbs? Most of us will have never driven the course and with only having a few "warm up laps" this will be quite difficult compared to some of the guys that have a good bit of track time there.
