what do you guys think of this color theme for my 79 cutlass?

well for the last year im trying to figure out what color to paint my 79 cutlass:

i like it but im kind of undecided on it so i need your guys opinion.

if you hate it please let me know which color theme will look good on it.

btw im going go the trans am series/ pro touring look

I like it but that makes sense as it's kinda the color scheme i am leaning towards.

For some reason I'm not feeling the yellow on that, which is odd because that's my color of choice.

I like the panel selection, but I'd flip them: black on the bottom, gold on the top. Then blackout the window pillar & tint the glass.
(Chrome or no chrome, your choice, but I think it looks sharp with the brightwork, new cars have none)

Maybe even a dark graphite on bottom, silver on top (?)
I like black for the body the best though.

With the formal roof line and the rather pronounced quarter panel line, it needs something with a little more finesse IMHO.

Monochrome just suits 80's cars better in my opinion.

I agree, it is TOUGH to do a two tone paint job on the A/G body's that looks right.
I'd personally do one or the other.

I like the two tone, but it seems hard to do with this body style, I elected to monochrome/blackout mine... Good luck and keep us posted on the final choice.
