Nice car! I had a 66 Charger as my first car in High School that I bought from my dad who purchased it new. I had to fix a little rust, repaint and install some seat covers but never modified it for performance (not much money back then). It was fairly fast for a heavy car and never broke down. Always loved the hide-away headlights and the long single lens taillights too.

I had a 66 in High School also. That was A LOT of years ago. I never had money to do much with it, Primer and a few engine mods. This one is different, really fast and looks pretty good to.

There is a local guy with a red one that shows up at the cruise-ins on occasion and its very nice. I've started to see a few more around lately but here in the Midwest rust has consumed most of them and I doubt there is much in the way of restoration parts for a body style they only made for 2 yrs.

I've always liked these Chargers even if they weren't for everyone.
When I was young, I used to ride my bike out to the back-woods just to stare at 3 of them languishing in a guys yard.

Now I can't find that place. (

Sweet, sweet SWEET! I'd love to build a 66 or 67 some day. Gotta get through this Dart first. Thanks for sharing, looks great.
