I think I know the answer, but I always appreciate second opinions.
I was running my car a little hard the other day on some twisty back roads. It bottomed out twice where I could hear some of my additional bracing scraping the pavement. The front braces that connect to my front crossmember cut clearance by 1 inch and the bracing in the middle of the car cuts clearance by 3/8 inch. I don't know if the front crossmember or the SFC's would have rubbed as they would have been the low points sans braces, but it would have been close.
Every time it bottomed I was coming out of a flat going into an uphill grade.
I assume this means I was going to fast for the conditions or I need more spring rate on the front.
The car felt softly spring more like my wife's Taurus when it was pushed.
Any thoughts?
