Well, seeing the trends lately of everyone buying fully completed pro-touring projects to enjoy, I decided to do the same thing! Of course, I opted for 'later' model to enjoy.

So, my 2002 convertible SS is at it's new owner's home in St Louis, and my garage space is occupied by this stealthy looking ride:

These cars are SO nice to drive. Much tighter/quieter inside than the C5s I've driven. Virtually no wind or road noise comes into the cabin. The seats are just sweet, I'd love to have a pair of those for every car I own. I put 248 miles on the car driving it home, it only had 7 miles on it when we picked it up. It easily feels like a mid-12 second car, and the LS2 engine has a nice throttle response.

:icon996: ......very sweet. Nice color choices. For the single guys out there, a teacher (female and single) down the hall from my wife took delivery of her Silver C6 last week also.

by the way NineBall, for curiosities sake only - is the wheel bolt pattern and hub measurements the same on the C6 as the C5? Those grey wheels look killer!

DONT EVEN think that my new car is "complete".. you should see the list of stuff I'm gonna do to it.. :D

As for your new vette.. very nice.. I see you went with the red "pimpalicious" interior (inside joke regarding LS1tech comments).. I actually like the red interior. Black on the outside is a masochistic (sp?) color but it sure does look good :)

Very nice car and congrats!!

masochistic? haha. Black is a bitch to keep spotless, but this car is a garage queen and won't be driven on foul weather forecasted days. They just look so mean though!

I love the red interior. This is the closest thing I can own that reminds me of a Ferrari inside :D. Its a nice deep red, not bright red.

Boyd, I believe the C5/C6 share the same wheel patterns. They just go 18s/19s now, instead of 17s/18s like the C5.

I really thought you would wait and get the new Z06.
I bet this is not complete either. I bet there is a blower or a turbo in this car's future. Looks like you got the xm radio option too. You will love that.
You are making it really hard for me to wait on the Z06.
Congrats and enjoy it.

When I'm done with this car, stock Z06s will be whimpering in their corner with their tail between their legs.

LSX engines are easy to extract power out of, I don't need to pay GM $20-25K to do it for me :D

Your killing me here. Lisa is supposed to buy me a Vette for our 20th next year. I had thought it would be a ZO6, but as crazy as they are, I doubt it. Black and Red huh? I likes it. like Bill, it may be hard to wait a year now that ragtops are out.
Congratulations.

Congrats Tony!

What's underneath the hood? LS2? Do we see an LS2TECH.com in the future?

Geez Tony, didn't you just pick up another 4th gen F-Body about a couple months ago? You gotta slow down, son. You're out of control. :drive2:

Nice choice though. Lets us know how you like that LS2.

I bought the orange SS a month ago. Sold the '02 SS Convertible on Friday, and bought the C6 on Saturday. Call me a car-whore, haha

Went crusing around for a couple hours tonight in the Vette with the top removed. Damn this car is one fine machine. I've gained some more respect for it after a few HARD corners at speed :D
