need a favor..69 wiper-motor holes..??need a template.

Does anyone have the're wiper motor off at the moment..? If so can you take a pc of paper or cardboard and trace the large hole along with the screw holes for me please.?

I smoothed my firewall over the winter and welded over mine, not thinking ahead. I would like to mount my motor under the fender but I closed up my stock hole. I saw some where they cut out the stock pc and moved it over but like I said I didn't think too far ahead so now I will trace your patern and go from there.
If I can find someone willing to trace for it for me you can shoot me a Pm and I will give you my address to send it to me. I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I have a 68 camaro, I'm assuming they are the same. I have uploaded an image of what the cutout should be, I placed two 3 inch long lines on it so you can copy it, then print it out. If the scale is off, just adjust the scale until you get the print out to have the two 3 inch lines. You bet you could use a basic paint program and just adjust the scale. I also included the top edge of the firewall, plus a picture of my firewall so you can see what it looks like.

oops, the scan didnt copy both 3 inch lines, so I rescanned it. here is one with both vertical and horizontal lines. I would definately hold up your wiper motor to make sure the holes line up, I only used paper. I think I got it good enough, but just double check everything before you start cutting.

if you have a wiper motor, doesnt that give you a template? youre trying to mount in a new location, not restore the holes you welded?
