I know it’s not a pro-touring car, but I thought the audience would be appreciate the build.
It has been a lifelong dream of mine to build a Hot Rod Santa’s Sleigh. I always thought it would be cool and something very different from the standard “white sleigh and reindeers”
The rendering is a rough sketch of my ideas and colour scheme is intended to be a red sleigh with gold curves with a black outline.
Here are some of the parts that I will be using.
GM 6-71 Supercharger housing
302 Ford valve covers
BBC exhaust headers
2 Holley Carburetors
Christmas ribbon for Blower restraints and blower belt
Candy Cane Shifter Rod with large Christmas ball on the end
Stroud Drag Chute
Red 5-point safety hardness
I am still struggling with a couple of finishing touches for the concept. I still need
Headlights
Tailights
Air Intake
I also have attached some pictures of the engine mock up so far. If all goes well, I should be able to have the outline of the sled cut out this weekend.
