Here's a 70's Holden Torana...looks an awful lot like a Vega. :) Nice 3-wheel driving.

That car is double dope-sauce! Now, to find out what kind of fender flares those are...? Anyone?

Those are factory flares....from memory, those were originally ABS molded plastic, they're reproduced in fibreglass these days.
The body kit on that car and the earlier SLR5000 were factory built for production racing and sold on road going versions.
Very successful Production Touring cars, used a Holden 5.0 litre V8 (sort of like an Olds V8...nothing like a Chev).

The hatchback Torana's were almost unbeatable back in the late 70's (especially when the late Peter Brock was behind the wheel)
The racing versions had the factory "A9X" option and only about 380 built (but there would 10 x clones )
There was also a 4 door version.

There is an original A9X coming up at one of the Shannon's auctions.
Suggested price range is AU$270 to $290K http://www.shannons.com.au/auctions/lot/?id=T25480BT884BC220
