The wheels are Centerline. The fronts are 17X8 5" bs, rears are 17X8.5 5.5" bs. Tires are 245/40/17 front, and 275/40/17 rear. The fit is PERFECT (thanx to everyone's help!!!).

I was wondering about the rim sizing. I am looking to get some 17" rims for my car. With your rims. did you have to have it mini-tubbed?

NO mini-tubbing. The body is completely stock. The suspension has had some serious upgrades but nothing that has any impact on the fitment of the wheels.

VERY nice! I am looking to buy wheels and tires for mine. I was wondering if your back wheels are supposed to be 9.5 instead of 8.5? or do they make a 8.5 wheel?

You're right! They're 9.5" in the rear. OOPS!!! Thanx! :)

You didn't have to roll the rear wheel lip or anything?

Great looking car, by the way.

The body is totally stock. NO rolled lips, minitubs, narrowed rear end, etc.

I was a bit leary about ordering these sizes, however I did, and they look great!

I have not driven it much, but so far-no rubbing, it appears I could have even gone with a slightly wider rear tire.

Like he said no rolled lips, etc.

Thanks a lot BWARREN!

Ed,

COPYCAT!! :) Just kidding.

Interesting that it looks like your car is sitting up a lot higher than mine is. Have you done anything with the stock suspension yet? You may not have any rubbing where you're at. What did you go with for rubber?

I'm STILL waiting for the stripes on my car. Should be ready "any day," and I've heard that for 5+ weeks!! :(

Keep in touch!!

Hey Brad!

Dangit you caught me

My car has been lowered (they say 2") with the full Hotchkis TVS kit and Bilsteins.

I think it will get lower once the suspension settles.

Thanks again for the advice!

I am real happy with the outcome, and I took your advice on the AVS yokohamas as well. 245-275's :camaro:

Make sure you post pics with the new stripes! and I hope they get it to you soon.

Does it look any lower? I thought it did, this is the pic before the new suspension.

Interesting. I was comparing it to what I remember mine looked like - been so long since I've seen it I forgot! If you look at my original pics, my car is definitely considerably lower in the front! The back is hard to tell but it seems lower as well. I'm judging by the space between the top of the tire and the top of the wheel well.

What are you riding on for pressure?

Looks awesome. Keep up the good work. :)

Thanks a lot for the compliments and for your help Brad.

Yes, your front is lower for sure. As far as pressure I have not checked it yet. I drove it to a shop this morning about a half mile from home to get the front end aligned and to get the exhaust installed.

I will check back after getting some wheel time.

I assume the suspension will come down a bit after some miles are clocked, and it may need realigned but my passenger wheel was noticably tilted and would have torn up my tire.

I would rather pay $65.00 for another alignment.
