I have been working on this pile every now and again for the past two plus years. It is a 70 Pontiac Tempest 2 door post car with a 400 4brl. It was a nonrunner when I bought it and I am planning on what I call a rat touring car out of it. I have replaced the floors, completely rebuilt the frt suspension incl. new disk brakes and huge frt sway bar. Rear has disks from an 87 Irok and a Chevelle rear sway bar. Wheels are late C6. Bucket seats are out of an Acura and blah, blah, blah. I'll hit a lick on for a couple of days at a time then move on to something else. Probably never get it done.

Yeah I know, but considering this was a front to rear factory drum brake car, the small disks I have on there is quite an improvment. I am trying to get it on the road again and then continue to upgrade as money permits.
Thanks guys, you all may have motivated me again.

Cool car man. To keep with the Rat Touring theme you could shoot it with some black satin primer and just polish up the trim. I think it would be really cheap and pretty cool. With your wheels and the amount of trim i bet it would kind of "pop"

Yeah, I have already painted the top a blueish gray base and cleared it with a flat clear. The cc was'nt very good as the last 1/4 of the can was hardened. It orange peeled terribly and I sanded and buffed my guts out. I learned one thing about cheap flat clear, if you buff it enough, it will shine. I plan to satin black the bottom half of the car and gloss out the bumpers. Still indecided on the trim.

Wheels look good - I got a set going on a nova project - did you have to minitub for those?

No, big spacers and a bit of lip trimming on the rear.
