where can I buy the Wurth SKS stone guard stuff and gun from? I can't find anyone local that has this stuff...

I need it to spray the inside of a trunk...

Is there any better product out there?

Is that like a rubberized chip guard? If so:

It comes in a spray bomb as well. Works well for me.

Any suggestions as too a tintable/paintable underbody coating? The car is going to be silver and I really don't want to use a black coating on the bottom....

Any profesional bedliner can be tinted to match your paint.
Linex, Ameriguard, vortex, rino liner etc. Some are softer than others and might not hold up as well. So do some research on which is best for you.

Sorry I am late to the party here. Been a little busy. You can borrow one of my guns and I will get you the SKS at my cost.

As for tinitable stuff, I think color texured products look like ass! We did the bottom of Bills GTO silver over top of the SKS and could not get it off there quick enough!

Black is beuatiful on the bottom of a car!

Thanks Frank. I will probably be going black on the bottom of the 55'. Now for the 37' we are building the car will be 2 tone platnium and charcoal gray. I just thought that the black underside would throw off the colors...

I Lizard skinned the underside of my 66 and now want to top coat the Lizard Skin to make it easier to clean and to give it some more protection and a nicer look. I was thinking about topping it with the Wurth SKS Stone Guard. I see that it can also be painted over but apparently it doesn't have to be?

To answer your original question, here's a place to buy Wurth products: http://www.goodspeedmotoring.com/

True, but a bed liner is worthless for sound deadening applications.
The stone guard will help some what but is better for protection or cosmetics. (a close friend of mine is a wurth salesman).

For noise reduction you need a coating that is both elastomeric and filled with plating mineral filler.
Lizard skin has been mentioned in this thread. They have a good product for heat and another good one for noise. Be sure to buy the right one.
I formulate all of our coatings in house so I am pretty familiar with what is required to make aquious coatings.

wurth water based is the best undercoating out there its all i use. Ive used it on some pretty high end cars and never had a problem for under the car i always seal it up with SEM rust shield paint
