Im looking for a LOW cowl hood for a 67 firebird. The lowest ive found at the moment is from VFN which is a 4 1/2" cowl which is still too tall for my tastes. Anyone know of another company that might be able to help me out?

You may want to look at this hood (http://www.spottsperformance.com/body.htm). I believe JonB69FB has one on his 69 firebird, you can see pics of his car in the "New Cars" section. I was going to use one on my bird until I decided to convert it to EFI.

Always willing to help out a fellow Poncho head. What engine are you using?

You sure you want to ask that? :)

The car had a straight six originally. Someone who owned it prior to myself told it to :getout: and swapped in a Chevy, so thats what I currently run. Pontiac body, Chevy engine and transmission, Ford wheels... whats next? :dunno:
