just got htis off a dif web site, they are the same..:)
The GTO is 5x120 mn bolt pattern and the C5 is 120.65 mn
What is the different of 120 and 120.65? First the different is haft or .325 mm at the lug. How thick is this?
3.25 millimeter = 0.012 inch
It's the same different as a 13mm wrench on a 1/2 bolt.
13 millimeter = 0.511 inch
0.5 inch = 12.7 millimeter
The paint on your car is thicker then different between 120 and 120.65 bolt pattern.
Four hairs on your head is thicker then this.
Three gains of sand can be stacked on top of each other in the gap, but four can't.
It's less the three sheets of 20 pound paper!
Wrapping a piece of paper only haftway around the lug will fill the gap.
You can't measure 0.3mm with a ruler.
The line made by a ball point pen is thicker!
You couldn't tell the different between a 120mm hub and a 4.75 inch hub without special tools.
Fine wire used in cutting "valuable, delicate, and fragile crystal" are 0.3mm thick.
Basicly 120mm is metric for 4.75.
I would worry more about the centric rings then the lug pattern.

can anyone help on this
as you've already noted, the bolt pattern difference is as minimal as minimal can be - the backspacing is what you should worry about. the auction only lists the offset ( the difference between the centerline of the wheel and the "face" of the wheel) e-mail the seller and ask him to measure the backspace.
I decided I liked the wheel enough to e-mail the seller myself. I'll post as soon as I get a response....

Too bad they don't have the original rear size listed, on the E39's they were 18x9.5. I agree, very nice looking wheel, the offset is listed and there's calculators on the web to convert to backspacing.

Well, using this calculator (http://www.imbalancechemical.com/nova/tech_offset.asp) for an 8" wheel with +20mm offset I came up with 5.29" backspace. It will be interesting when Boyd gets his answer back to see how they match up.
Edit- Hey, whose site is that? Cool project!!

look like the ss wheels, and the 5.29 b/s is not bad they would fit,

I just called them and they said that they would not fit because of the hub is smaller, so could we use a spacer or adapter? or is this just to much work? what do you guys think?

Same style, different sizes. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=43958&item=7967020215&rd=1)
Scott67, the link I just posted lists the center bore as 72.6 mm, and the small GM pattern uses a 70.3 mm, so hubcentric rings would take up the slack. The problem I see is if you are using the standard GM front rotors, the hub may protrude too far through the wheel, keeping you from putting the centercap on. I think BMW's used sealed front hubs. There is a couple of threads here about putting these wheels on GM cars, one guy(whose name I just can't remember, sorry) has a set on an El Camino.
haven't gotten a reply from the seller yet,...
