I know this is a Pro Touring forum, But I thought the since this color is so rare, and versions of this color are so popular now, I would get away with posting it here.
We delivered the 68 RS/SS Corvette Bronze car this week. Corvette Bronze was a special order color and is super rare and super desirable in the resto world. If your into this kind of thing, this car is a has some great rare options Rally Sport, Big Block, Auto, A/C, Deluxe interior, fold down, and really rare multiplex sound system. The car was a super clean Texas car and was 100% original metal and no one speck of rust anywhere. It is SUPER heavy documented, every number matches, just a killer car.
The customer added a couple none original things, bolt ons including a tilt column, wood wheel and chambered exhaust
I will have it back in a couple weeks for a physical, change the upper hose to a GM repro, chase a little rattle, a few little detail things. When I get it back I will do some pics underneath of the completed car.
Just thought you guys would enjoy. I quit doing restorations quite a while ago, but this one was fun and brought back some old memories.
