I was bumping around on Detroit Speed's website and saw this late model door latch install on Kyle Busch's Camaro. This intrigues me for one of my projects. Can anyone shed any light on what the best model to rob one from is? Also, can anyone shed any light on what it takes to make this happen?? Thanks.

What would the advantage be over running new/rebuilt first gen latches? Would it give you a greater range of possible outside door handles?

Kyle and i talked at the NSRA nats and i think he said that they are using the 08 Malibu latch set up.

I don't know about the Camaro but my Studebaker has old school "star" wheel latches and closes like complete crap.
