Hey to everyone in the forum, I'm new to the forum and deffinatly have questions for the set up I want to run. My car is a 1974 Chevelle Malibu Classic with 135,000 and change on the odometer the way I bought it. I look forward to talking to everyone about their projects and showing the progress of my project as it gets finished.

Nice, with the right stance, those cars can look great. I have been wanting one since I saw this one: https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57447
From what I understand, they can swallow a pretty big tire too.

Sweet Malibu...What are your plans for this car?

My plans are for a global west front suspension with coilovers or air-ride if they develop a kit for my car. Rear suspension will be a C4 corvette IRS with the Dana 60 rear-end. For a motor I want to swap in a LS engine of some kind. An ls1 or ls6 would be nice because 5.7L engines are close to my heart, but I’d settle for a 5.3 from a truck to keep cost down. I’m not sure what I want to do 4 a transmission yet because I’d like the new TCI 6X but $6000 is out of my price range. I was thinking a 200-4r but if anyone has recommendations or opinions on what transmission I’d really appreciate it. Interior will have a full roll cage and a custom dash because the interior isn’t in the best condition. I’d also like to clean it up on the exterior like the one in the link above. I’ll listen to anyone’s opinions or recommendations as to what I should do. I’m a rebel so I like to do things that others haven’t so keep that in mind.
