i am planning a supercharger install on my 73 camaro with LT1. it seems that there may be some clearance issues with the upper control arm with the supercharger. it is hard to tell as i have no idea how large the supercharger and bracket are.

has anyone on here done this?

does anyone have any ideas on how i can get some measurements so i can see if this will work before i shell out the $$ for the parts?

looking at procharger, vortech, possibly powerdyne.

thanks in advance for the help.

Go with Procharger I have had all three. Also check out www.yellowbullet.com (http://www.yellowbullet.com) there maybe somebody with this exact setup lots of info on superchargers. http://www.smreperformance.com/ this is the god of superchargeing. Make sure to get a unit that u can grow with boost is addicting.

The Project below is an LS1 with a Procharger and not an LT1 so I think you'll have fewer issues than they did.

www.nevarezracing.com in Vegas has made a upper LT1 Mnt'g kit for SS Impalas that should give you another option.
