i have a set of chrome rims for my 06 charger and i was wondering what i can do to successfully paint over the chrome and not have it flake away over time?? thanks-dom

I once painted a chrome bumper - sandblasted the chrome to rough it up, used an aircraft quality etch primer (I work in the aviation game) then high fill and painted as normal. Had no more issues than with any other panel on my car.
