I think this is one the best engine swaps that i have ever seen.
I has the engine from the current e60 m5 under the bonnet.

Still have a set of an older 7-series available (same principle as with the E30 3-series) and have looked to see whether it would fit a first gen. Obivously it will but not w.o. quite some fabrication . . .
Oh and before I forget: that's one hell of a nice conversion!! Thanks for sharing

Interesting style of drag racing. Rolling start and then jump on it.

It comes from Highway racing. Slowing up for a gap in traffic, and then punching it. There's a good amount of vids online on it. Some of these drivers are crazy and others downright stupid considering the traffic volume, and highway patrol presence on a few of those clips!

Wow, that car is just stupid fast!!! What a sleeper too, they left it alone except for stuffing that monster under the hood - very nicely done!

I don't think I've EVER seen an engine sit that close to a radiator before!
Its definitely fast but those V10's have an odd sound.

I could see how a 3,000 pound car with 500 HP could be a fun toy.
Specially in a sleeper disguise. :bananna2:
