Something that can take the heat of a track day, but still work well in a lower temp event like an autocross?
I've heard good stuff about Hawk pads...
Thoughts?

Gonna watch this thread...I have the same question. I also heard good stuff about the Hawk products.

Call Porterfield and get a recommendation from them. They sell the major players as well as their own pads and shoes and have lots of experience.

hawk 9012 blues work very well, they are hard on rotors but not to hard, its a popular scca pad. i run these on front and hp plus's on the rear, give a really good balance.

I'll try Porterfield for the next go-around just to see what they are like, but I have had very good success with Hawk HP+. They squeek just a little on the street and generate a fair amount of dust, but have not failed me yet at the track.

Thanks guys..
I typically swap out for the track/street so a dusty/noisy set for the track isn't a big deal.
The ones that come with the brakes are pretty quite.
