Hey guys I'm going with either all 18s or 19x10" back 18x8" front now this is simple for most of u, but me, what do I need to buy when money is not growing on my oak tree out back. I'm readin that drop spindels is not the way to go. I have yet to buy my full disc brake system. So offer 2" drop spindels on them. I guess just ordering a spring to the right height is the way to go. If so how do I order the tight length spring. I want the top of the wheel not tire to be even or just a smite lower than the fender wheel wel or and quarter same I cant order twice. I will post a reply with a pick that I like. Thanks. Nick

Hey Nick -

If you want to avoid drop spindles there are other ways to lower the car and get a good stance and improved handling.

So many of our customers requested springs with a lower ride height that we finally designed a spring specifically to allow camaro, firebird, and nova owners to lower their cars without negatively affecting handling. This is a sneak preview of our all-new 3" drop springs (http://www.hotchkis.net/6769_camaro_firebird_sport_leaf_springs_3_drop.htm l). Here's an installed shot:

You can get them alone or with a TVS, and they bolt in just like our other springs, but with a full 3-inch drop instead of a 1.5-inch drop. We've designed them with a spring rate that provides a really comfortable ride and still delivers the same performance.

we achieved the stance on our Camaro with 3" springs in back and tubular arms (http://www.hotchkis.net/6769_fbody_6874_xbody_tubular_upper_aarms.html) in front with a 2" drop spring (http://www.hotchkis.net/6769_fbody_6874_xbody_front_sport_coil_springs_2_d rop_big_block.html) and the adjustable spring shims removed. You could achieve the same look with stock arms by trimming a coil, but we usually don't recommend that as done incorrectly the spring may not seat correctly.

Hope this helps.
