I am pretty much set on the Wilwood kit. Frank at Prodigy is excellent (as is Tobin at Kore 3) and i think the Wilwood setup will match my future plans for the car perfectly....Just wondering if anyone has ever have any problems with Wilwoods warping up on them under normal and spirited driving? Going to be placing my order and just want to poll the group.

I have the WW discs, no time on them yet. But just the design of the separate hat and rotor lends itself to keeping the rotors stable. Where a cast hat and rotor can lead to some cracking under very sever heating conditions. And possible warping if the hat doesnt allow the rotor to expand and contract at its own rate because the center section, the hat will be cooler and not allow the rotor to move around like it should. And Im not an engineer but I am very surprised the all in one cast rotor/hat arrangement dosnt fail. Guess if there is enough bulk then heating is slower and the hat warms up enough before the rotor really starts moving due to heating. JR

Oh, one more thing. And I dont know if its true, just something I have heard. For the rear brakes, if its got a parking brake. If you have driven hard and the brakes are really hot then you park it with the rear brakes clamped with the parking brake that can lead to warping too. Urban myth?? Dunno...
