Hey everyone
I'm just doing some research on some future projects for my cutlass.
I'm looking into converting my motor to FI but I'm not finding much. The only site that I have found is here www.rancefi.com (http://www.rancefi.com) . Has anyone ever had any dealing with this company. Would someone be able to tackle those modifications to a manifold in a home shop or is that something that should be left to the experts. Is there anyone else making these types of kits that I haven't found yet.
Any oppinions or advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Dave

There is a lot more to it than just converting an intake. I believe some '76-80 Cadillacs with Olds 350s were port FI. You may try to find one of those intakes and adapt a more modern TB and ECM. If you choose to modify the intake, have Rance, Kinsler or one of the others do it. I think the FAST XFI looks to be a great deal at about $2150 with WBO2 although I went Gen7. You can see what I did here: My Hompage (http://home.woh.rr.com/firebird67/efi.htm) Alternatively, you could go with a Holley TBI setup and save a lot of time and money.
