Has anyone investigated putting a 69 camaro lower valance on a 67/68 camaro?
How much fabrication is needed to make it work.
Thanks,
Adam

The 69 valance looks killer on the 67,68's

I did it and the only problem is the hood release. I forgot to take pictures and the owner is working on it at this time. We also modified the rear valance.

Not bolt in, and not difficult to make if you can weld. however we are almost finished with a bolt in replacement that should be available around SEMA time

Thanks for replies.
Mike, sounds like you may have what I want. I will keep an eye out for the release, I am ready to purchase.

Here are a few pics of the one I'm making. It's a little work, but can be done pretty easily. I'm still debating how I want the lights to look. A lot of people use '69 openings, but I want to do something different. Maybe a little smaller and recessed futher back into the valance, with a different style opening near the lights. It's a work in progress...Good luck

Here it is with the right side already welding in and cleaned up.
