Where does everyone get thier restoration supplies (paint, filler, tools etc..)? I need to find an alternative.

Have you tried proautotools.com? If you go to there site, they have other menus for 3M product and body supplies. I bought most of my tools as well as cut-off wheels and spot weld cutters there. I saved a bunch on the tools alone.

proautotools is the same company as autobodydepot.net. By far the best prices on materials and equipment. Plus, free shipping on orders over $250. They also carry the full house of kolor line for the lowest prices I have seen.

Give a call to a local shop and ask where they buy their supplies. ALthough they probably buy wholesale.
All Star Hot Rods down in your area is a good place to ask.
I use J&R Auto Body supply around here but I dont think they travel that far (into CT)

It's a bit of a drive from Manchester (40-45 min.) but I use Service Auto Supply in Ansinia Ct. They stock a lot of body tools supplies and related stuff, mix paint, vinyl dyes etc and can offer advice. If you go there talk to Scott. He's their paint and body expert. I buy their PPG paint products and have been happy with them.
