This is not my area of work so I need some assistance. I've gutted out the seats and carpet in my 69 Camaro. I ran into some surface rust along with a lot of old glue and things from the carpet. My question is what should I use to clean the glue and rust? I got some pics attached.

I would suggest a drill, and wire brush the heck out of it. (use eye protection, and carefull where you push your hand against, those bristles tend to fly, alot), buy several brushes, they will get used up...
Get your trusty shop vac ready for duty, it will get messy (or air blast it outside).
Once clean, you can coat it with Eastwood Rust encapsulator or similar.
I hope the rust is only surface. The pass side may be the only concern in a spot or 2, the rest looks fantastic.
