Zbar removal!

Is there an easy way to remove the zbar? I need to pull the zbar out in order to get my drivers side header out.

If you are pulling the engine anyways, just start pulling it out, the z-bar just pops out.

I can just get to the nut on the frame bracket from the engine compartment; then undo the linkage and it pulls out. It was easier when I had the oil filter off.

I back off the lock down on the frame bracket, and disconnect the linkage from the pedal then pull the zbar and lower linkage together.
