You do not have to buy from the invisable man on E Bay. We stock, install and sell the Magnaflow 2 1/2" X Pipe dual muffler system, part number 15896 for $500 and free shipping. We stock, install and sell the Magnaflow 3" X Pipe dual muffler system, part number 15899 for $650 and free shipping.

frank..I will be in contact with you regarding the 2 1/2 system. I plan on getting it in the next month or so. I would rather give you my business then a random person on ebay, thanks for the reply!

Frank,
Any chance of putting a GP together for Magnaflow Exhausts? Haven't been on the GP site in a while. I would want the 15899 3". Just a thought, or is your above price the same as a GP price?

We are already as low or lower as anyone with the free shipping (expensive to ship)

I also bought mine on e-bay and was very happy. Just make sure to read the auction and ask the seller questions to be sure you get what you want. Odds are that the seller on e-bay is equally, if not more, concerned about your happiness than someone like Frank for the simple reason fact that you get to put your honest expierence in black and white on e-bay.

I am going to have to disagree. There's no other place that you can get the technical support from people like Frank, Fesler, Twist, Jake, etc. You aren't going to get that from a eBay seller. Especially since most of them have never even installed most of the kits they install.
I just looked on eBay, and the cheapest kit I could find was $497. I personally feel $3 is worth the confidence of knowing there's going to be someone you can call, who can walk you through any installation issues.
Also, just because feedback is one of the key features on eBay, doesn't mean Sponsors are immune to negative feedback either. There are plenty of threads on here and Lat-G and every other Automotive message board where people give feedback about their transactions. Go look at the ATS thread on Lat-G for an example..

just to add, resources like Frank and other vendors on these sites are very valuable. He may carry 3 or 4 different exhaust systems for example and has installed them all. They each have their own strong points and he can give real world opinions and suggestions that are tailored to you individually. I know I sound like an ad, and I'm not on his payroll............ :) but it's true, that is worth a ton to me, especially when the is also competitive on price with the no-name guys.

I will concede that if I am paying apples to apples prices I will go with someone that I know. When I bought my system I wasnt aware that Frank sold the kit and at the time e-bay was cheaper than jegs, summit, etc... I am just saying that if somone finds a deal on e-bay they shouldnt be afraid of it.
And no, I am not a seller on e-bay at all. I do; however, encourage anyone to shop for the very best deal that they can get without compromising.

I bought one a few years back. I was very pleased with price and shipping. Although, you can't go wrong with Frank.

If frank is going to match the price its a no brainer. why give your money to some drop shipper.

Another important thing to consider. We only sell parts we will use in our shop on our projects. We install what we sell. So we have real world experience. Many E bay guys are pajama retailers working from their living room in their PJs. Good prices due to no overhead or inventory. There are even some on internet forums doing this. But when someone buys something and needs help, who do they call? The brick and mortar guy who just installed one of those. They call frank. The guy with the signature:
FREE PRO TOURING TECH and PROJECT PLANNING For Forum Members
90% of E bay sellers do not have phone numbers. Ebay it self does not have phone numbers (not ones someone can find easy). It is a way of life over there.
True story
Last month a member contacted me about a product we sell. A product that takes some specking specific to each application. So after specking it all out and pricing it to him at a nice deal. he writes me a couple days later...........He found cheaper on E Bay! Now this is a product we sell at a great discount already but someone is GIVING it away on ebay. This is a pretty technical thing. I told him I could not go any lower, go with your heart. Long story short I knew when I did not hear from him that his heart and wallet were in the same place! His ass, LOL! Well guess what? He called last week, tail between legs, starts the conversation offering to pay me my lost profit for help as he could not get any help from the invisible man seller on E Bay. And when he called the manufacturer he fond out the seller is not even a authorized dealer. The manufacturer needed to know what distributor it came from.
I know the guy he bought it from, just so happens this guy is a sponsor on some forums I am on also. He is right down the street from a major wholesale house. So here is how it works. Someone buys a part from him. He collects $$$$$ for the part. He leaves his house, runs 5 miles up the street to the wholesaler, picks it up, takes it to UPS Store, done. He pockets a few pennies on multiple orders orders and has himself a couple / few hundred dollar day with zero over head except a internet connection and E bay fees. Problem is he knows nothing about the system is not there when you need him for help on this or another problem.
On the total other side of the equation, you have someone like Prodigy Customs that not only you can get in touch with, but who will help you with no purchase required!
So to end the story, I helped Mr "Go with your heart". Solved his problem. I am his hero now, I doubt he will bargain shop on E bay again!

I will say Frank has been a big help to me when comes to anwsering ?'s. I would spend the extra and know that if I have a problem I can call and talk to Frank and get things worked out if something was wrong etc. I have bought a few things from Frank and will continue to buy from the Prodigy guys!!! Thanks again Frank for all info you have given to multi members on probably 10 websites if not more and to the walk in guys!!!!!! Brandon

Frank, How about just a couple of 3" offset in/offset out mufflers? You sell them that way & if so, how much?
Thanks,

Sam, They make them in different sizes. Based on the fact your trying to eliminate drone (your other post), you want to go as big as you can fit to tame that thing. You will need to get me a part number, and yes we can do just mufflers.

I'll have to look and see what sizes there are & compare that to the Flows I have.

Is there a problem with mixing metals as the magnalow is all stainless correct? Is anti-seize the solution? I have a 68 convertible with Spintechs and it's just a bit too agressive i'm looking for something a bit more mellow. All the pipes are steel.

I'd say that unless the price on ebay is really a super deal then go with someone you can trust.
