This is my personal vehicle.
I have owned the car for about 3 years now.
Last night I started mocking up the LS block and heads in the car.
I'll post some more details later, but here are some pics.

Enjoy,
Jeff

I want to make 1000HP one time, then roll around with 700-800.

Should be no problem

Nice work, looks like a few Mustangs in that 1 picture. I could use a Turbo Ls engine in my 4 door Nova. It would be a great sleeper. Keep up the good work .

Am wondering, (assuming that your using fuel injection) whether the solid mount will wreck havoc on your knock sensor? And start pulling timing back limiting your power out put. Especially on bumpy roads. Have you given that any thought?

I will be running a blow through carb.
But you can always tune around the knock sensors. Just need to be sure that you tune is spot on, and you keep good gas in it if you are not using them.

Right.... the 109 will hold that kind of power level for like 1/2 of a pass and then disintegrate. The stage motors like to crack and are tough to find parts for. The TA motors are expensive as hell and not friendly on the street. Which 1000hp ones do you know of?

You should fab this front end.. I've Always wanted one if I was ever to build a turbo car out of my Regal.
Its a 1 piece fiberglass front end, designed to mount the innercooler wher your radiator was, and the radiator lower in the big grill opening.

Unfortunately the company that makes them I cant seem to locate any info on their location or if they are still in business.

It's been about 7yrs ago since I got info on this company.

But man if you good at fabbing it should work for you.

If you do end up making something close to that, let me know..

I actually thought of gettin a complete fiberglass dog house and just cutting the header-nose-bumper off the front and using it as a starting point.

I wanted to keep the safety of a bumper, so I thought deskining the chrome bumper to it's structure, cut out the hole except for the top part and reinforce that with a piece of thick c=channel and then over lay that piece.

or try working something from one of www.laureneng.com pieces like this one

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2009/09/17675028-1.jpg

Then go from there...

Still trying to get the tip in tune where I want it, but Wide Open and cruise are mint like jelly.

Here is a video. 525 HP and about 500 TQ. There were a few spikes in the torque curve where the ignition pickup fell out.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cTOGE2UcMY

This is 8 psi and 14 degrees. Hope to turn it up to about 15 psi and run the same timing.
