GM part #10033125 fuel valve question??

I was looking at the pic in another thread and was wondering if the "nipple" on the top of it is some sort of mounting clip??

Looks like it snaps into a small or somthing? Is that correct and if so any idea what size??

Yes, it is a means of mounting it. Sorry I don't remember what size. About 3/8" diameter maybe???
