Hi,

I've got C5 13" brakes up front (Baer Track Plus) and LS1 rear brakes. I don't want to use the heavy cast iron master that came with the Baer kit and rather buy a used alu master from a newer vehicle. I have the original 64 Chevelle booster and pedals. I have no idea what the pedal arc ratio is, but I guess approx 3.5:1

Should I go with the LT1 or LS1 master? Do I have the correct details about the master bores?

LT1 = 0.862" ~7/8"
LS1 = 1"

I guess my booster isn't really that strong. Also, if I would go manual instead, would that change your recommendation? I wan't my wife to be able to drive the car too, so it might require too much pedal effort?

From what I have gathered a C5 master/booster works well.

15/16" is what a lot of guys recommend for manual. Some are running a 1" as well. Do a search and you should come up with some good info. https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37217

DSE also has a master/booster that is a bolt on set-up.

Both the LT1 and LS1 master cylinders have 1" bores if I'm not mistaken. We typically suggest 7/8" to 15/16" bore MC for manual applications, 15/16" to 1" bore for vacuum boosted applications, and 1-1/8" bore for hydro-boost.
