04 GTO engine + trans in 69 camaro

Hi guys,
After a long time of debate (and two kids) I finally decided to go to a LS1 w/ 4L60 trans. I picked up a rolled over GTO with 50k miles and started to pull everything out already.
This car runs great so Im not looking for any mods yet. I have seen a TON of posts about LSX's in first gens. Lots are from a few years ago. I was wondering about the install kits available now. What are your thoughts? What kit or parts will allow me to put use this engine and trans w/o cutting the oil pan and use the stock steering? (It looks like this is one of the major issues) Im really getting pumped up to do this swap but I don't want to 1/2 a$$ it.

Im going to try and put these seats in. Much better than my ripped up stock ones. I just have to get them dyed; they are purple :barf:no offense to anyone who has a purple car or interior :scared:.
