Here are some shots of the poor '67 rs trapped in my garage. As promised this year it will be running. I am at the point where it can get fun (and expensive) setting it up. I could use all the advice that you good people are willing to give.
Right now, its got a nice 350/350 hp out of my 69ss/rs. The internals are all new even though the outside looks like a dog. Shiny stuff comes next. (note the hooker super comps). The front suspension is all new ( I am willing to remove and upgrade) I have a '67 convertible that will get all the NOS components. Up front I installed a disk spindles from a Nova. The brakes are brand new but stock(gotta go, right?)
The interior will be redone. I like what I have seen on this site with upgraded seats, consoles etc....
The body is all new GM steel and it is pin straight. It is good to have a brother in law who owns a body shop!!!! The finish (which looks horrible right now) is a chromabase blue with heavy amounts of pearling ( it looks like three different colors depending on your angle and the light).
Here's the deal: I want to set the car up right while not going broke. I want to lower the front and rear of the car first. What are my options? The rear is a leftover from this car's days at the dragstrip. I am pretty sure that the traction bars can go. the next is the wheels. These are cool for the convertible, not this car. (too small). what can I stuff in the fenderwells without having to break out the plasma cutter.
