Hi I am about to affix my inner rocker and I need some advice on tools. I need to punch quite a few holes into the panel to plug weld it. After researching I found a few tools.

The hand tool like this one will punch an 8 mm hole and crip the panel. http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/hand-punch-flange-tool-12005-p-11749.aspx

the Air tool is reported to do the same. http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/astro-8mm-straight-grip-punch-flange-600st8-p-11635.aspx

Is thier any reason to buy the more expensive hand tool? Does it work better? (BTW i say more expensive cause its less then $80.00 direct)

I use a version of the air tool, and it works great.

We've got an HTP pneumatic combo punch / flange tool... love that thing. Works great, no sore hands!
