Hello everyone, from Ohio. I am building a 69 Camaro built to handle with a Global West stage 4 suspension, a high revving 388 small block and modest visual modifications. The plan is to make it look relatively stock yet handle and scream.

When finished it will be painted PPG sunset red over pure gold with white racing stripes, white vinyl top, white leather and houndstooth seats (fronts from a 97 Trans Am). I am planning to mount Raceline RL239 chrome wheels with knock-offs...and if able to get with wheels in a package 245/40R18 and 275/40R18 Nitto NT05 tires. If anyone has a better tire suggestion I am all ears :secret:. Its currently sitting on stock wheels with the calipers removed...they barely clear the rotor lol.

Waiting for my Brother-in-law to finish the paint so I can finish the car off. The agony of patience. I have attached a pic of its current state, I have a ton of pics though.

welcome to the site.

Tell your brother-n-law to kick it in high gear so you can build it.

Good luck, there is a lot of cool people and cars here to get good idea's from.

Welcome Chad! I went with the Raceline wheels for my 69 as well..the GT-2 piece.

I've been looking at tires too and thinking i'll go with the BFG G-Force Radials in maybe 245/45/18 and 275/40/18.

Anyway, looking forward to following your progress.

Ok its been a long time since I've had an update on the car. I gave up on my brother-in-law, actually so did my sister, so it was sent to a local professional resto shop. These guys are really good and perfectionists...their attention to detail found a lot of flaws in my bro's work, so I guess I am lucky he screwed me over.

I have some pics I need to get from the shop that will bring this album to current, but I will post once I receive them.

For now, here is the complete set of pics on photobucket that I have available:

I plan to post all the good pics to this thread, starting from the beginning; it'll take some time with the slow Internet speed though.

Enjoy!
