Is there an advantage of running the Global West control arms with their bushings over another bushing type?

I already bought a full set of Air Ride Strongarm control arms for my '56 Belair build. I was planning on using a poly bushing but now I'm thinking about selling the Strongarms and buying a full set of Global West arms.

I even tried calling GW to see if I could use their Del-A-Lums on stock cross shafts on the Air Ride arms and was told they would NOT work. Bummer.

I want a firmer ride than rubber, prefer a greasable bushing and don't really want any squeeking issues.

Thanks

Delrin is a great material for bushings. The stock shafts can be made to work with delrin bushings. Del-a-lums maybe not. But a decent machine shop should be able to make bushings to your specs for 60-90 bucks. If you consider this route look at delrin AF. Its teflon impregnated delrin. Even mo better. JR
