I've searched around and can't find a specific answer to my question. Here it is I was considering buying the Hotchkis TVS for my 67' Camaro but here is my problem. My car has aluminum heads, aluminum intake and Harwood cowl hood(light) which all adds up to about 140 lbs. off the nose of the car.I'm assuming this would have a large effect on how much of a drop I will end up with.Hotchkis as well as other venders only offer one sbc option with out provision for afore mentioned changes. Can any body chime in with any personal experience or other options.

I am here, the slight weight change does not have that much affect on the drop.

Because these are lowered springs they slip in and out real easy. So it is easy to R and R a spring and trim the spring a bit for a bit more drop.

Here are a couple 67s we have done this year with TVS kits

every car is going to be different- and aluminum headed motor in a car with AC will weigh close to the same as an iron headed car without AC, for example.
it's not that hard to pull the springs and chop 1/2 a coil to tailor the ride height to where you want it.

Any before and after pics. Those cars are sweet but don't look as low as I would like.

A TVS kit is not going to get a 67 / 68 super low. Because of the wheel opening design, it is very difficult to get "that low look" that comes so easy with a 69 and those sqauared off wheel wells.

Here is a before on the Teal car
