hi guys, i just picked a 67 mustang. it is a project that i am planning on taking me a couple years to complete, but i know my goal that i am going for is the pro touring set up. the first thing i want to do is get the body prepped. it is a Arizona rust free car that is mostly in primer. car has all original body panels, floor pans and so on. with that said, the last thing i want to happen is the car to start to rust. my garage tends to sweat from time to time. i am thinking about getting the car media blasted in then spray it with self etching primer. any advice would help. also, what is good to spray inside the car on the floors, trunk, pillars and so on? and then what would you recommend for the under carriage. i have heard of POR15, but not sure if i want to use it. under carriage just needs to be well protected and look decent. don't want to paint the underneath like a show car, because i want it to be like a daily driver.

Nice car and keep the pics coming.

I did the por-15 on the inside floor on my car and will be doing the frame. Its not a show car but my budget did not allow for powder coat so this is the next best thing. The under carrige I will use truck bed liner and dynamat the inside of the car.

was this the car for sale awhile back. It had custom front suspension, something like Griggs.

if so post up some pics.

if not, check out my blog for what suspension you can build for these cars.

had the 67 turn signal hood on it, but got sold before i could pick the car up. planning on putting the same style back on or maybe the eleanor style hood. not sure. kind of depends on after i get the motor mocked up in the car and see if i have any clearance issues.

good choice. will it fit in between the shock towers?

with your suspension can you cut part of the towers away?

with the new shock towers it fits perfect. already had a motor set in place to make sure.

i really like the stance of your car and was wondering what size wheels and tires you have along with the backspace or offset they have?
