steering feel

Hello I am new to the forum. I have a 67 firebird with Global west G+ susp., a quick ratio power steering box and a stock power steering pump. The car drives and handles great but has very light steering feel (Similar to when it was stock). I would like to have more steering effort but don't have the money to go to a rack and pinion right now. Is there an easy solution?

It may not be cheaper right now but SC&C and ATS sell a steering box by Lee MFG. Probably the best box you can buy. That is the route I'm going when I have the cash in the budget.
