I am curious how you Fuel Injection guys are doing the fuel system in your older cars that were never originally fuel injection cars? I am about to do a lt1 t56 swap in my 73 z28 I am trying to decide how I want to do the fuel system on my car. I would like to just run an inline high pressure fuel pump and add in a return line. I have also been thinking about sumping the tank but I dont really want to run AN line all through this car b/c of the price. This is just going to be a stock swap not a super high performace setup so I think I will be fine with factory fuel lines.
How would I go about adding a return like to my 73 camaro fuel sending unit?

I got a custom stainless tank from Rock Valley for my LT1 swap. $$$$$$
If you aren't afraid of a little fab work, check this out:

From Tanks Inc: http://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=84/category_id=61/home_id=61/mode=prod/prd84.htm
As far as fuel lines go, you can bend your own hard line. I bought stainless tubing from Inline Tube, and did my own supply and return.
Also, if you want to pony up a couple more bucks and get a budget tank that is built for FI, check out the Spectre tank thread: https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50281

I bought a new Spectra Premium Industries tank. EFI ready with the fuel pump and sender already installed.
Not bad for about $500 delivered, just bolt it in.

That spectra tank is a nice looking unit Ill have to look into them. Did they say anything about fuel pump replacement? is it a factory style fuel pump out of a normal car or would you have to get a replacement from spectra. Thats the only thing that worries me if the pump goes bad or the sock gets clogged up you cant just run up to the parts store and get what you need..
Also one thing I just realized is Gauges. I am going with a t56 so I will have to upgrade to a electronic gauge or a converter box. What can I do with my stock water temp and oil pressure and tachometer is it possible to make those factory gauges work with the lt1? If so how?

I think I found this info in the Spectra tanks thread that was linked above by 69LT1Nova.
