Hello all,

My name is Tom and I've been following the forum for a couple years now, and I gotta say hats off to you all for some awesome cars and projects!

My dad and I just recently completed our first Pro Touring build; a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang so I thought I'd post some pics, also attached are a couple photos of my 67 GT Mustang Fastback...

Here's the quick spec sheet for the mach

393w stroker motor, 450hp and 450 tq
Shaker Hood Assembly
Roush 200 Heads
Comp Cams 274H Cam

Toploader 4 speed with Gear Vendors Electronic Overdrive
4.11 Strange Tru Trac
31 spline axles

Complete Air Ride Technologies setup with 4 bar rear and tubular control arms front

Foose Nitrous 2 pc wheels 18x8.5 front with 245/40/18 and 18x10 with 275/40/18's

JME Gauge cluster with Autometer Gauge set and matching clock assembly
Custom Carbon Fibre gauge insert and matching door panel trim

JVC DVD Player and Rockford Fosgate Speakers

The car is a blast to drive! We've got about 150 miles on it so far and are working out the final details before she goes up for sale!

Hope you like...

So I've got my dad hooked on the pro touring builds now, he's normally used to building concourse correct cars..

Next project is a 69 mach 1: planned mods include, art morrison full frame with 4 link and re-designed mustang 2 front suspension, 6 speed or an automatic overdrive not sure yet, 19x12 and 19x9's, fully custom interior, something different for a motor, perhaps a 427 cammer with fuel injection or something...

Anyways I'm gonna try to figure out how to get more pics up....

Thanks for the comments guys, here's some more pics of my car (the green one)

Future plans include: TCP G bar 4 link rear suspension with coilovers, TCP Front Coilover suspension and right now am thinking Rushforth Livewires 18x8 and 18x9's I need to tackle the stance and attitude of the car next...

PS if anyone thats photoshop handy could doctor up one of the pics with livewires on that would be awesome!!

nice work. are you guys starting a business? or just for fun?

just curious why you went with the toploader and GV instead of a TKO?

so how does the black one drive with the air ride compared to yours? and i noticed you said you want to go with the tcp coil-over instead? why?

My dad and I build them as a Hobby, when he retires in 3 years he wants to start one. We went with the Toploader and GV because I have the TKO in my car and it doesn't shift quick enough - not too thrilled about how it shifts. My car drive's pretty good in comparison, just isn't quite as "sticky" as the black one through corners...

Going with the Coilovers because of the simplicity of the install, and no worries if an airbag were to burst...

Agreed about the Toploaders. You can row those things so hard and fast. Plus with the big block input shaft they are damned strong.
