I have posted to the forum before, but it has been long enough and the car has changed enough to throw this thread under "new cars"..

Tremec TKO-600
Global West/Hotchkis/BMR suspension
Aerospace disc brakes
Aeromotive Fuel System
Bonspeed 18/20" wheel combo

I just completed installing the Tremec and installed new carpet, factory buckets and other new interior pieces... I converted from a Turbo 400 and dont know why I did not do it a long time ago..

Yeah buddy, I had a 509 c.i. BBC with a TKO 600 in my 72 Chevelle that I converted from a 700R4. Before, the 700R4 I had a TH400. When I was telling friends of mine I was going to put a 5 speed in they were telling me not to do it & I'll regret it and stuff. Shows how much they knew about cars, huh? Never even looked back after I got my TKO 600. I loved it. I now have a T56 Magnum behind a LS 6.0 in 72 Chevelle. Love the 6 speed just as much. Have fun with it!!

Asmith how are you. I saw this post is old so I am not sure you are still on here. I think I saw your car this past week in Indian Rocks Beach at a pizza joint. I took some pics of it. I told my girlfriend as we drove by I recognized that car! Looked awesome!!! I was there on vacation from Chicago. Let me know if that was yours. Great great car!
