Anyone working out a bracket for this? Seems that with people doing upgrades on the 2010s that there will be a few on the market.
I haven't taken one apart yet.. thoughts?

I agree.... After seeing those brakes, it started my wheels turnin'. Someone's going to be the first :) .

Do you think they're the same as the previous generation CTS-V brakes? If so, it looks like I may be trying that out on my 2nd gen.
Not trying to hijack a thread, but I couldn't find any detailed specifications of the Brembos used on the 2010 SS... But the brakes used on the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe Track Package are the newer generation Monoblock 4 Pots on all four corners.
"You know those Brembo brakes that come factory on the STI, Z33, and Evo? Well, those are the Brembo F40 and F50 calipers. That's the old two-piece design. The newer ones on the Genesis are the Brembo monoblock M4 calipers made from one piece of metal. Two-piece calipers are made from two pieces and the bolted together. They have a higher tendency to flex under load. Moving back to rear, the Genesis is equipped with a 4-piston rear caliper. That's something Nissan, Subaru (http://www.superstreetonline.com/featuredvehicles/130_0907_hyundai_genesis_coupe/index.html#), and Mitsubishi didn't get from Brembo.--Super Street"
No idea of the costs, but if the brackets have to be fabbed anyway...this looks like a different option.

I have thought about this too Z, but I am worried of the wheel diameter needed to clear these. And what are the possibilities of running these calipers with a slightly smaller rotor?!?
If there is a way, I will consider making brackets for a handful of guys for 2nd Gens...

Joe was playing with the CTS-v brackets but there was little interest to complete back then. I believe they differ from the Camaro.
Check with Fab Hammer to see if he had come up with anything yet.
Be very easy if its the radial style mount.

I discussed this with one of the dudes that used to do the engineering for Tyler (spacing on his name) it never went anywhere. I think it's possible, and IMO brakes that can haul down a 4200lb CTS-V ought to work darn nice on something 500-700lbs lighter.

Feedback i am getting is the fact gen 5 brembos are nothing special.....aftermarket is prob the way to go. Until there are more guys upgrading the fact ss brakes i don't think the cost of the used parts will be worth it.....granted the performance will be much better than stock discs.....with the baer T4 being such a hit, easy bolt on and baer quality not to mention the price being the same as the old PBR 2 piston systems!

You can make a bracket for the 2010 SS Camaro brakes to fit a stock spindle with some parts from Baer. Unfortanately the parts from Baer separately cost more than most people would want to spend. I have a few write up's and even a bracket that if someone wanted to make they could. For the 5-700 dollar cost for the brakes, plus new rotor's, hubs, & brakets it would cost around 2 grand. It is cheap for the rear kit, I will have them on my 69 within the month. The front, I am not going to do because it is cost prohibitive and I have 6R's on there anyway...
