I've been looking at options for Door mirrors on my project. I've seen allot of bullet mirrors and C6 Mirrors.. Has anyone tried or looked at mirrors from a Dodge Viper?

I am trying to find another style mirror for my 67 as well. I tried the 70 bullet style, but they prevent the vent window from opening. I will have to take a look at the Viper mirrors.

I picked up a pair of olds aurora mirrors for my 68 firebird. They fit the door shape with no modifications and are power with heated mirrors.

I have a set of the bullet mirrors from a 2nd gen, but with mine being a 67, if I install them, I won't be able to open the vent window.

Not entirely true, you can open 'm for about an inch when you install them in the original position. As with many things in life, there's a trade off for better looking and having better visibility.

However when you install them a bit forward from the original position you can use your vent windows. Which shouldn't be a problem when bodywork/painting is still on the "to-do-list".

The Aurora mirrors look like a good alternative but will probably give the same vent window "problem".

Sorry for deviating from your original question but just had to "clearify".
