Has anybody had any luck repairing the dash in a g-body? I know it cn be replaced but almost $1000 for a differant dash isn't in my budget. I have the correct vinyl dye to spray it with if I can just get the cracks filled. Any ideas?

Thanks

there's Just Dashes, but it ain't cheap either.

I'm in the same boat as you, but mine only has one small crack in the upper left corner.

I've wrapped a dash pad with material, glued down and tucked under at all edges and it has worked great, can't even tell it's not the original dash. Can't comment for sure if it would work on a g-body but I can't see why not?

you can use super glue to fill the cracks then paint

Over the years I've used the Eastwood vinyl repair kit to fix a few small burn holes and cracks with very good success. Some of the repairs are nearly undectable almost 20 years later. Next challenge will will be filling and repairing the dash in my Malubu where thieves tore a chunk out while stealing the stereo a few years ago.
