Where do the 3R stack up against the 1310,1330,1350 ?

Will Spicer 5-795x solids U-joints on a steel 3in dia ,.083 wall thickness be strong enough for a 500HP/500TQ in a 3900 lb TA?
I can have this made locally.

I run 255-50-17 rear tire, I doubt I will ever race on slicks/drag radials.
I busted the old drive shaft a few weeks ago and do not care to experience that again.

I feel alone and abandoned.

I run my 3900 + lb TA with a 1330 to 3r conversion joint in the front and a solid brute strenght 3R joint from autozone in the back. I have a TKO trans, a Aluminum headed 455 making 550 or so hp when running well. I ran it on slicks and it will yank the front wheels and run sub 1.6 60 foots and the 1/4 in the mid to low 11's I broke the 8.5 ring gear and twisted the trans yoke and crushed some rollers in the conversion joint. The brute strength unit is still going strong at least 7 years now...

Make sure your saddle clamps are tight and I think you will be ok with the brute strength or similar solid body joint in the 3R size.
Good luck.

Thanx for for the input ,

I went a 3 in x .083 wall with 1350 Spicer solids , forged pinion & tranny yoke.

I`m at 475 HP and street tires so I should be fine.
