Some redneck back in my hometown of Bismarck, ND did the exact same thing with a 70 Chevelle. I guess if I were to own a big 4X4 to beat the hell out of that's probably what I would want except with dual confederate flags attached to the quarters and a 10 foot long CB antena. :firefire:

we had a discussion about this several months ago...there are a lot of these 70 street machine 4x4s prowling around but for soem strange reason there seems to be a disproportionate amount of them on Long Island. After my last posting on this subject I managed to spot the two 4x4 1969 camaros (1 real z/28 and 1 real RS) but was without my camera.

A lot of engineering goes into a project like this (as much or more so sometimes than a pro touring car), and one mans taste is not another's.... just think about that before you knock it.

Personally I think It's cool but I am biased, I grew up in the area that built these.

I like the picture where from that angle, it looks just like a pro-street '68 Camaro! That is one cool paint trick!
